The Radisson Hotel Group is delighted to announce the signing of a new property to Radisson Collection, the brand reserved for the group’s most exceptional hotels worldwide, in Budapest, Hungary.

With a storied history and prime central location, the Radisson Collection Basilica, Budapest is both an historic landmark and a great base for exploring the city – the perfect evocation of everything Radisson Collection stands for. With 71 stunning guest rooms and suites, a first-class fitness center, restaurant, lobby bar and a further rooftop bar – supplying sublime views over the Budapest’s historic skyline – the hotel is sure to set the scene for some unforgettable moments when it opens mid-2020.

Located on St. Stephen’s Square and the only hotel to face directly onto the Basilica, guests will be in the prime position to take in the full Neoclassical grandeur of Hungary’s most important church. At the city’s bustling heart, guests arriving in December will be treated to a particularly wondrous atmosphere, when the square plays stage to Budapest’s most picturesque Christmas markets.

Close to all Budapest’s major attractions, the hotel is only a short walk from sights like the Hungarian Parliament Building, the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. Whilst, in the other direction, guests are no more than a few steps from the stunning State Opera House – widely regarded to be one of the world’s most prestigious.
