Rezidor continually looks to grow and develop our supervisors, creating new managers, new leaders for both today and tomorrow. With the Management Development Programme, we are continuing our highly successful policy of recruiting from within. It follows on from the great successes we have had with our other People Development tools we use to develop our business the ‘Yes I Can!’ way.
The Management Development Programme is designed for those with the potential to become inspirational leaders; the Programme will develop, train and prepare existing Supervisors to become Department Heads, across all areas of our business. For those with the potential, the possibilities within Rezidor are almost limitless and we fully expect all those starting the Programme to become a Department Head within two years of its start. As a hotel-based Management Programme, you’ll be working in a real role from day one. A real role, with real challenges, real solutions and, best of all, real rewards! It offers unrivalled opportunities for both learning and networking.
Do you have what it takes?
Typically lasting 24 months, the Programme brings together a range of exemplary learning methods, including face-to-face learning, eLearning and assessment centres. This is complemented by mentoring from a senior manager, project work and on-the-job learning.
The training takes place in a number of different properties, providing not only a diverse range of learning opportunities but the chance to learn in new environments and new Rezidor brands. Assignments during the 24 month period include task force exercises that combine operational, all-round experience with off-the-job training and business-driven projects.
- If you have two years hospitality experience, either with Rezidor or with another major international hotel group, then we want to hear from you.
- If you are a graduate, with a diploma from an international hotel school (or equivalent), combined with a real passion for our dynamic industry, we want to hear from you too.
Internal application: If you currently hold a Supervisory position and you are interested in joining the Programme, then speak to your Department Head who will inform Human Resources and your General Manager.
External application: If you are not yet employed with the Rezidor Hotel Group, then you first need to apply for a vacant Supervisory position at one of our hotels and, during the recruitment process, indicate that you’d like to be considered for the Programme. Once you have taken up your Supervisory role then you can apply to join the Programme.
